The lab was founded on the basis of the prominent work of Profs Zhu Hong-fu and Zhang Guang-Xue. Our research interests contain: aphid (Hemiptera, Aphidoidea) taxonomy, systematics, molecular systematics and evolution, diversity and biogeography, interaction between aphids and host plants, biology and ecology of aphid pests.
